Ota City Service Center Guide
What are Service Centers?
Ota City's Service Centers are convenient counters where you can get certificates related to resident registration and taxes, or pay taxes, without having to go to the main City Hall.
Where are they located? What are the operating hours?
There are two Service Centers. The West Service Center relocated to Aeris Base on February 23, Reiwa 7 (Sunday/Holiday), and the operating hours for both East and West Service Centers have changed.
East Service Center

Please note: In addition to the New Year holidays, temporary closures may occur due to facility management. In such cases, announcements will be made on the city's website, etc.

- West Service Center: Weekdays, 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM
Please note: City Hall and other Administrative Centers are open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and New Year holidays).

Please note: For Notifications of Moving In and Change of Address, if submitted after 5:15 PM on weekdays or on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, only the reception will be processed. The actual processing will occur on the next business day (weekday), so certificates like resident certificates will be issued on or after the day after the processing day.
Tax-Related Certificates
- Certificates related to Income and Taxation
- Income and Taxation (Non-taxation) Certificate: 300 yen
- Location Certificate (for corporations only): 300 yen
- Certificates related to Tax Payment
- Municipal and Prefectural Resident Tax: 300 yen (Corporate Resident Tax is handled at the Tax Collection Division on the 2nd floor of City Hall)
- Fixed Asset Tax: 300 yen
- Light Motor Vehicle Tax: 300 yen (Free for vehicle inspection purposes)
- Note: Certificates for non-taxable vehicles cannot be issued at Service Centers. Please go to the Municipal Tax Division on the 2nd floor of City Hall or other Administrative Centers (excluding Ota Administrative Center) for these certificates.
- National Health Insurance Tax: 300 yen
- Certificates related to Asset Tax
- Appraisal (Asset) Certificate: From 300 yen (Limited to the current and previous fiscal years. Only if the reference price per square meter of nearby land is not required. If required, please go to the Asset Tax Division on the 2nd floor of City Hall.)
- Public Charge Certificate: From 300 yen (Limited to the current and previous fiscal years)
