Foreign children can enroll in public schools for free if they wish. Apply at the School Education Division in Ota City Hall (0276-47-1912).

Don't worry if you don't speak Japanese. Come to Ota City Hall 1F or call 0276-48-1001 for multilingual support.

Visa renewals are done at the Takasaki Immigration Bureau (027-328-1154), not City Hall. If you renew your visa, remember to extend your My Number Card at City Hall.
